Disney Cruise to Alaska, with a stop in Vancouver- June 2017 Part 1

Hubby and I were planning the Summer Vacation, and somehow the domestic trip turned into a trip to Vancouver, and since we were going to Vancouver, which so happened to be the port for Disney Wonder to Alaska.... and our daughter was 9 (the last year considered pricing at child rate), I railroaded him into another Disney Cruise!

But first.... Vancouver! We stayed at the Victorian Hotel, which was a cute little place, walking distance to the port. We wandered around the Gaslamp area, and ate dinner at a quaint French bistro called Jules. It was yummy!

The next day, we walked over to rented bikes, and rode around Stanley Park. It took a couple hours, we stopped several times to admire the views. And, I admit, have not ridden a bicycle in many many years, and it was hard work!

After returning the bikes, we took a bus to Granville Island and hit the market for some grub.

My first Poutine!

We went back to the hotel, and then out for some dinner. We found this yummy Japanese tapas place, Guu in the Gastown Area.

I love buying candy in other countries. And these are some of my faves found in Canada.

Next Stop... Disney Cruise Line!!
